This study intends to explore the impact of social media on the foreign languageacquisition of higher education students. The objectives of the research wereaccomplished by conducting a survey with these students to discover how social mediacould be a useful tool not only to learn English, but to reinforce knowledge and developthe language skills of speaking, listening, writing, and reading throughout students’virtual interaction among themselves and their online contexts.
